On November 22, Hi-Tech Park held a meeting of shareholders and owners of the major IT companies from the Asian-Pacific region. Shi Yuzhu - chairman of Giant Interactive, and Nurali Aliyev - the owner of the Zhanartu investment fund were among honoured guests. During that event Innowise Group had a chance to get Shi Yuzhu acquainted with VOKA - mixed reality system that allows surgeons to see the damaged bone tissues inside the patient. This very system has a great number of advantages in medical practice from increasing safety of the operation by visualizing locations of blood vessels and nerves and reducing surgical risk to shortening the rehabilitation period by reducing damage to adjacent tissues.
We were stocked to have taken a part in such an event and tell the public about our innovative development that is being developed with the Belarusian Scientific and Practical Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics.

Medica is the very exhibition that provides the medical device industry the central market for innovative products and various systems that are contributing to the efficiency and quality of patient care all around the world.
In the framework of Medica Innowise Group introduced its innovative MR System for trauma surgeons and medical students. Implementation and application benefits of using VOKA.IO are numerous. Firstly, it mitigates surgical risks when it comes to medical procedures of high risk. Secondly, due to the reduction of tissue damage it increases the speed of recovery.
To sum up, this system was of interest for medical professionals and med technicians because it was one-of-the-kind at the fair. Needless to say that its efficiency and relevance in practice was unquestionable. Lasertag and rope park in Vitebsk
It was an amazing Saturday corporate event with lasertag and rope park adventures! At the beginning we devided into two teams and played lasertag. During the 2-hour running and fighting we got really exhausted but everyone was excited and happy.
After a bit rest, we continued at the rope park.
Girls chose Green run, boys prefered Red run, which is more difficult.
By the way, this ropes course is located near Vitebsk. To know more about the recreation camp, follow the link http://kolos-club.by/
There you can also play voleyball, paintball, lasertag, badminton, or just have a swim, as the river is quite near the camp. It is a picturesque place in the pine forest, quiet and far from the city hustle.
After the sporting events were finished and we didn’t feel like running or climbing any more, we gathered at the shelter shed and enjoyed the barbecue.
The holiday was really great, so, dear colleagues, see you all at the outdoor party next summer again!

Ice Bucket Challenge Flashmob is Gathering Pace in Vitebsk
At the end of August, Vitebsk, the creative
centre of Belarus, actively took up the Ice Bucket Challenge charity movement.
A number of Vitebsk residents have already
taken part in Ice Bucket Challenge individually. However the "chilling"
сampaign seems
to attract companies even more. Sports teams and office employees can be seen outside
with buckets of cold water with ice – thus the campaign takes the format of
Flashmob.
Initially, the campaign involving dumping a
bucket of cold water on someone's head was aimed at raising funds for the research
of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, however by now it has become a more general
purpose movement and now participants transfer money to any charity accounts,
opened mostly in their home town or country.
The international relay-race is
enthusiastically supported by Vitebsk companies working in the area of software
development.
Cool autumn morning on 15th September, Innowise
Group took up the challenge thrown out to us by another Vitebsk IT company:

Steve Jobs portrait appeared in Vitebsk
A team of Vitebsk artists have decided to decorate courts of dwelling areas with portraits of cult persons. The central image of Vitebsk street art is a person widely known and respected among young people. "We aim to draw attention of young people to self-development, and constant moving forward," said one of the artists.
Graffiti works of Hood Graff Team seem to be not just pictures but artistic messages.
Personal computer revolutionist Steve Jobs has become a hero of such message.
Motivating quote: Stay hungry. Stay foolish.
Meanwhile, Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC'14) took place last week at the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco.
Within the conference new OS X 10.10 Yosemite and iOS 8 were presented. Apple announced launch of these new operating systems this summer. The design of Yosemite with a flat design of icons and background looks similar to iOS 7. "This is the fastest adoption ever of any PC operation system in history" - said the current Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Apple also introduced a new iCloudDrive service that may become a serious competitor to Dropbox and Google Drive. All files are available inside Finder and are auto-synced across all user’s Mac devices, as well as on iOS and Windows.
Now files can be shared between mobile devices and Macs using AirDrop.
Touch ID application programming interface (API) is now available to app creators for using in third-party applications.
A new programming language Swift was announced – up to date, with security features – that is 1.5 times faster than Objective-C and 2.8 times faster than Python.
Among the other software items announced by Apple are HealthKit and HomeKit platforms, family sharing feature and a number of other features and updates in both OS X and iOS.
This year Apple has not introduced any new devices, and the audience walked away “without a single piece of new hardware”.
